The Hawkings Luvaga Foundation is dedicated to transforming lives in Hospital Ward, Kitale, Trans Nzoia County. Founded by community leader Hawkings Kidiavai Luvaga, our foundation focuses on sustainable development through community empowerment, youth skills training, education support, and healthcare initiatives.

2018

The Beginning

Hawkings Kidiavai Luvaga began grassroots community initiatives, identifying key challenges facing Hospital Ward residents and mobilizing local resources to address them.

2020

Formal Establishment

The Hawkings Luvaga Foundation was officially registered, creating a structured platform to coordinate community development efforts and attract partnerships.

2021

First Major Projects

Launched the Road Lighting Initiative and Boda Boda Sheds Construction projects, addressing safety and infrastructure needs in Hospital Ward.

2022

Education & Youth Programs

Expanded focus to include educational bursaries for needy students and skills training programs for unemployed youth in the community.

2023

Healthcare Initiatives

Introduced medical support programs to assist families facing health challenges and partnered with local healthcare providers.

2024

Community Expansion

Grew our volunteer network and expanded programs to reach more residents, with over 245 students supported and 178 youth empowered.

Our work is driven by a simple belief: that every person in Hospital Ward deserves the opportunity to thrive. Through education, skills development, and community empowerment, we're building a foundation for lasting change.

As we look toward the future, with my aspiration to serve as MCA for Hospital Ward in 2027, our commitment remains unwavering. We will continue to work tirelessly to transform our community, creating opportunities for all residents to build better lives."
